๐ First look at the new Hall of Fame: More Frames and Ability Upgrades!

As we revealed in our Spring Dev Update, the Hall of Fame will soon shine some more โ our wonderful Pocket Champs โGlow Up Team โจโ is currently busy putting on the finishing touches so we asked them to give you a behind-the-scenes preview!

Stylish New Look, Easier Navigation
Introduced 2 years ago, the Hall of Fame aims to make hunting down new Collection items fun and rewarding with Abilities to unlock. With that ambition in mind, the truth is we havenโt updated it as much as weโd hoped to expand its content. โChallenge accepted!โ said the Glow Up Team โจ !
Our first order of business was making it much more simple to navigate from one Frame to another, so the impractical horizontal scrolling had to go! See below the new Hall of Fame menu with its different galleries!
Galleries will be themed around the various hobbies Champs enjoy!
That cleaner look is just a part of what weโre changing โ access to the Hall of Fame will be more practical and useful Collection items will be identified more clearly to guide you through how to make progress!
Balanced Requirements, Faster Completion
So now that weโre ready to add more Frames, we need to make sure people are excited about completing them โ but it turns out most players only completed their 1st Frame during the Master League. Oops! ๐
Our second focus was therefore very straightforward: we want everyone to start enjoying Abilities early on as they journey through the various Trophy Road Leagues! This is where balancing is super important.

With the new Hall of Fame, you wonโt need 30,000 Trophies! Access to new Frames will be progressively unlocked rather than confusing you with too much to start with. While some of our new Frames will still be challenging to complete, weโll make sure you can get started without having to find rare Collection items! ๐
What about existing Frames? Theyโre getting some love too! ๐ Weโre thinking of adding new ways of unlocking some of the required Collection items โ and while weโre at it, weโre updating artworks too!

Frequent Updates, Exciting Rewards
Our third focus is giving you a bigger incentive to check out the Hall of Fame and celebrate your achievements frequently โ rather than randomly remembering that โoh, right, this menu exists!โ. ๐
Easier said than done โ currently not even half of the gameโs Collection items are represented in Frames. Sure, weโll be adding new Frames to cover more of that, but itโs not only about what already exists: future Shapes, Gadgets and Mojis will also more frequently be featured in the Hall of Fame! ๐

All in all, the Hall of Fame should become a more essential part of your experience with rewards that make you feel happy about completing your Collection. To that end, rather than add new types of Abilities and make it too complex, weโll allow you to upgrade existing Abilities for a bigger speed bonus.
This is just the start for the new Hall of Fame โ after weโre done with this specific update, our Glow Up Team โจ will be delivering more and more content for it throughout 2025. But more on that later!
